Managing Notefiles in Notehub just got easier. In the Notehub UI, a new Notefiles tab gives you a single place to view and manage outbound, inbound, and database Notefiles for your devices. In the Notehub API, a new List Notefiles endpoint makes it possible to do the same programmatically.

Two new Notecard firmware versions are now available: 11.1.1, our latest developer release, and 10.1.1, a release candidate of our upcoming 10.x LTS.

Both versions include initial support for Notecard for Skylo, support for Notecards with Telit Midband (LTE Cat-1 bis) modems, numerous NTN improvements, and more.

A number of new Notehub features are live and ready for you to test today:

• Data usage reports: We've made it even easier for you to track and report on both data and event usage (with trends!) Look for new charts on your device’s Usage tab.
• Watchdog events: Notehub can now proactively alert you when a device has gone quiet for longer than expected at the fleet level.
• There also a new Snowflake route, improvements to how we handle host firmware management, and new ways of testing JSONata transforms.

Today we’re excited to introduce personal access tokens for authenticating with the Notehub API.

With this update, you can create and manage up to 10 tokens from a new API Access section in the Notehub user interface. When creating tokens, you can optionally set an expiration date, and at any time you can suspend or delete tokens as needed.

Personal access tokens carry the same permissions as your Notehub user account, so treat them with the same care as you would a password or other sensitive material.

If you’re previously used the Notehub API’s /auth/login endpoint to create access tokens, those tokens will automatically appear in your personal access token list. If you’ve previously created more than ten tokens, only the 10 most recently used will remain, and the rest will be removed. Notehub’s /auth/login endpoint has been deprecated since 2023, and we plan to remove the endpoint on December 1st, 2025.

Two new Notecard firmware versions are now available: 9.2.3, our latest developer release, and 8.2.2, an updated release in the 8.x LTS series.

Both versions include a new max argument for the note.add request, a new file.clear API, a new sync argument for the var.set request, along with various bug fixes and minor improvements.

Today we’re happy to announce the availability of our new “Midband” Notecard Cellular, based on the LTE Cat-1 bis protocol. Midband Notecards use less power and are less expensive than our Wideband Notecards, use a single antenna design, and are supported everywhere LTE is already available.

A new developer release of the Notecard firmware, version 9.1.1, is now available.

The new version includes support for variable-length numeric arrays in Note templates, numerous reliability and efficiency improvements, and a variety of bug fixes.
