We’ve added a new Notehub route for Snowflake Snowpipe Streaming, making it easier to deliver device data to Snowflake with high throughput and low latency.
Snowpipe Streaming provides a high-performance REST API for loading data, and this integration lets you take advantage of batching and long-lived channels to efficiently ingest data at scale. To get started, check out our tutorial on the Blues Developer Center.
Today we're pleased to announce the availability of Notecard for Skylo — a first for Blues and the wireless connectivity industry. With Cellular, WiFi, and Satellite on a single Notecard design, it’s the only module to combine all three with bundled data and no monthly fees.
Read our announcement blog to learn more, and when you’re ready, pick one up from our store.
Today we're launching Notecarrier CX, a new member of the Blues Notecarrier family that's aimed squarely at embedded and IoT developers who desire reduced complexity while accelerating their prototype process.
Notecarrier CX is essentially a Notecarrier X combined with a Blues Cygnet in one board, available for only $17.50. This initial version is available as a BETA product. Check out the Notecarrier CX datasheet and then pick one up in our shop.
Notehub now provides a more detailed view of satellite data usage at the device level. From the Usage tab on any device, you can see a breakdown of uplink and downlink bytes, packet counts, and how actual bytes compare to billable bytes.
This view shows data usage from Starnote for Skylo, as well as our upcoming Starnote for Iridium and Notecard for Skylo products. Try it out!
Managing Notefiles in Notehub just got easier. In the Notehub UI, a new Notefiles tab gives you a single place to view and manage outbound, inbound, and database Notefiles for your devices. In the Notehub API, a new List Notefiles endpoint makes it possible to do the same programmatically.
See the new functionality in action in this short introductory video:
Two new Notecard firmware versions are now available: 11.1.1, our latest developer release, and 10.1.1, a release candidate of our upcoming 10.x LTS.
Both versions include initial support for Notecard for Skylo, support for Notecards with Telit Midband (LTE Cat-1 bis) modems, numerous NTN improvements, and more.
The full release notes are available in the Notecard Firmware Updates documentation. To update your devices, see Updating Notecard Firmware.
A number of new Notehub features are live and ready for you to test today:

Today we're excited to introduce the beta release of Blues Expert, an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. Blues Expert turns your LLMs (Large Language Models) into a virtuoso that understands the Notecard & Notehub APIs, best practices, and can help you build Notecard-based IoT applications faster and with greater confidence.

Today we’re excited to introduce personal access tokens for authenticating with the Notehub API.
With this update, you can create and manage up to 10 tokens from a new API Access section in the Notehub user interface. When creating tokens, you can optionally set an expiration date, and at any time you can suspend or delete tokens as needed.
Personal access tokens carry the same permissions as your Notehub user account, so treat them with the same care as you would a password or other sensitive material.
If you’re previously used the Notehub API’s /auth/login endpoint to create access tokens, those tokens will automatically appear in your personal access token list. If you’ve previously created more than ten tokens, only the 10 most recently used will remain, and the rest will be removed. Notehub’s /auth/login endpoint has been deprecated since 2023, and we plan to remove the endpoint on December 1st, 2025.
